Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to the Home of Gorillas
Upon your arrival, you will be welcomed by one of our professional tour guides, then transferred to Kigali city for a tour of the Gisozi Genocide Memorial Museum, lunch, and later drive northwards to Parc National des Volcans (Volcanoes National Park), viewing spectacular scenery en route. Dinner and overnight stay at Mountain Gorilla View Lodge / Sabyinyo Silverback lodge / Le Bambou Gorilla Lodge / Muhabura hotel.
Day 2: Gorilla Tracking Adventure, Departure
After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters with a packed lunch and water to receive your briefing, then proceed to track the gorillas. The trek takes 2-7 hours, depending on the movement of these gentle giants in their natural habitat! You will spend an hour (Maximum) in the presence of the gorillas for observation and photographing. After lunch, you may have a city tour or return to your hotel for rest.
